REACH

REACH stands for the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. It refers to the EU Ordinance on Chemicals, which came into force on 1 June 2007. As an EU directive, REACH is immediately and uniformly applicable to all member states. REACH fundamentally harmonises and simplifies previous chemical laws.

WEIGANG is also tackling this subject as raw materials procured from our suppliers must be considered in accordance with REACH guidelines.

This applies to materials procured from outside the EU in annual quantities of more than one ton.
